Useful Wild Plants of the United States and Canada by Charles Francis Saunders

Keeping with the theme of knowledge that will help you survive incidents like Hurricane Sandy I’m presenting a Scrbid version and linking to a .pdf of an excellent book detailing useful plants that are common and can be easily foraged, via Alpha 411.

The book is Useful Wild Plants of the United States and Canada by Charles Frances Saunders which is also available for Kindle for the princely sum of $2.99. You may want to pick up a copy for times when the power is out unless you’re really good at memorization.
